Yeah thanks for clarifying. Clearly zn put words in your mouth
I think for me it’s simply a matter of watching football. It’s something that you can plainly see from the LOS. As I said I know teams do it what I have a problem with and I think needs to change is how frequently the Rams do it
I live outside of Washington and I’m very familiar with McVay before he became head coach of the Rams. He most certainly didnt do the same thing with Cousins in DC
Thanks for clarifying RR

I'm just wondering how you know for a fact that we do it more? It seems that the only reason this is even talked about is because goff made a comment about Mcvay "going crazy in the headset" while being on Sounds of the game. For all we know every team in the league is doing this and just as much. If they don't then they're idiots lol outside of Brady, Brees, rivers, etc every QB in the league could use up to the second expertise from their coaches. So why assume it's only goff who uses it so much?
How did I put words in RR's mouth?
He said
But how do we know how often the Rams speak into the headset vs any other team? Or is this an assumption? And I agreed. That IS just an assumption. And it's one that will not hold up actually.
BTW
I said McVay wasn't the first to do the headset thing and that's just true. For example this on Hoyer:
Quote
he saw an NFL Network interview where Goff and McVay discussed the coach being in the quarterback’s ear up until the 15-second play-clock cutoff, which was something Shanahan did with Hoyer.
Kyle Shanahan was doing it with Hoyer in Cleveland in 2014.
