The only justified one IMO was Cooks. I get that. He's not really WORTH a 1 but they could only get him for a 1 so you live with that.

The Peters thing was a mess for several reasons. Apparently it took Wade all season to figure out how to use him. That's the opposite of McV knowing he wanted Cooks and why and how he would fit. To me Peters was just the case of Snead and Wade going "shucks okay let's try it." Then--trying to figure it out afterward. That's not savvy team-building IMO.

Well when you consider the comp picks you receive if your rental player walks, it's well worth it imo.

Peters thing was not a mess at all.... he played well when Talib was in the line up when he could play his natural position. It wasn't an ah shucks let's try it, it was let's go get one of the best ball Hawks in the league for cheap.

I have no issues what so ever with any of the trades and signings we made last offseason. A few plays away from winning the Super Bowl isn't a bad year.
