Agree that Fowler at much over $10M is a goner. Turn to the draft or FA.
But disagree on Ebu. He’s simply not good enough and I doubt that he ever will be. Obo remains an unknown to we fans. Maybe the coaches are sold on him, but maybe not. I don’t think we can afford to assume that Obo is the guy.
That’s why I’m pounding the table for TWO edge rushers, although Fowler could be one. An effective Wade D requires a strong pass rush. We weren’t getting it early on last year and look at the D results. Once Fowler arrived things got somewhat better, but Ebu’s side was never effective except for his phenomenal Chiefs game. Gotta fix this this offseason.
