Atlantic Ram
Just out of curiosity. The Rams struggled quite a bit in the secondary... a few players seemed to regress.
I don't really know one way or the other, he may be a superstar in the waiting... I simply didn't think the secondary played well... but then the defense as a whole was pretty bad.
Talib was the linchpin to the Secondary and keep in mind that Pleasant only coaches the Corners, not the Safeties who are coached by Ejiro Evero...Was highly regarded at Washington and his track record to this point has been encouraging. With the Redskins many of the players spoke highly of him and his track record in college at Michigan and has worked under some very good Secondary Coaches in Perry Fewell & Raheem Morris. Pleasant also did coach on the offensive side of the football in his first year in Washington, which does aid a coach in understanding different schemes.
So I believe Pleasant is vocal and is very engage in coaching, now Peters did struggle and Troy Hill some thought regressed, but Pleasant was his coach last year as well and IMO, he played good last year. Overall, IMHO, he seems to have the profile you want in a future DC because God knows, it's not Joe Barry.
