Just trying to look at a deal that might work for both teams that might possible have a chance of working out. I would hate to give up the #1 especially since we are already without the #2 pick. I also recognize that it his highly probable that we will lose Safford, Suh, Joyner and Fowler which we must replace. If you add Brockers to that list and delete the 1st rounder it becomes even more difficult.
I could see Noteboom replacing Safford, Christian/Countess replacing Joyner, and OBO replacing Fowler and without a terrible drop in performance. Suh of the regular season seems replaceable but not from the current Roster if Brockers is gone. I do think Brockers can replace Suh and JMF can replace Brockers in this defense and we could slide by without a terrible loss.
Any if that trade could take place we would have cap $$ to sign a run stopping DT to replace Suh and JMF could replace Brockers. I would see Clowney replacing Fowler.
Heck there is little chance of this happening but I sure would love to see a killer DE/or OLB that can make defenses crazy. Snead seems to like the proven route over the draft lately so at least the idea seems to be somewhat plausible.
