Apparently execution has nothing to do with winning and losing

February 13, 2019 01:38PM
It's all a coaching chess match - with madden robots just following their instructions?

Missed blocks, dropped passes, some bad QB decisions, a phantom holding call. None of that mattered? 2 passes in Cook's hands - if he holds onto both are we looking at 14-10 rams and how 'the young pup outfoxed the old fox?'

The media is in love with their storyline - Bellichek showed the young guy how it's done - and we're all supposed to just swallow that like it's the gospel truth. Nobody talks about how Bill's offense and his golden boy Brady could only muster 13 points in the Super Bowl? So on that count could you say the older fox - Wade outfoxed the slightly less old fox - Bellichek?

There's more to the game than X's and O'l - players have to make plays - even when there's not much there for the taking.
