If Brockers’ mediocre season was due to an undisclosed injury, then that’s different. Coaches need to know whether that was the case.
This is a rich DL draft, and there will be less expensive FA’s available, too. Replacing 2 DL players is very doable. Heck, I’m a big JFM fan, so that might be a good start. It’s not personal, just business.
The team goal is to get back to, and win the next SB. We’ve got a limited window before Goff gets his big payday. So, I’m willing to crack a few eggs to make that omelette.
And Brockers is far from the only egg that might have to be cracked, or even in the top 4-5 most likely. Just the way it is. Survival of the fittest on the rosters of elite teams pursuing the SB.
