A few guys went back to school:
Raekwon Davis - Alabama - a 1st round lock IMO
Derrick Brown - Auburn - another first round lock (these 2 guys were probably top 25 picks)
And now for an injury:
Today (2/12/19) Jeffery Simmons blew his knee out training. He is (was) my #3 IDL. This is on top of him punching a woman in a street fight years ago. (even though his teammates and coaches swear up and down he is a really good person now) He has to slide some.
And 1 failed PED test:
Dexter Lawrence - Clemson - failed a PED test right before the playoffs. he had a bit of a down year as well, so I'm not convinced he is a 1st rounder anymore.
Thats 4 guys, leaving only:
Quinnen Williams Alabama (top 4 pick)
Ed Oliver - Houston (his combine weigh in is going to be important)
Christian Wilkins - Clemson
And 1 guy that had an up and down year and has some underachiever to him:
Jerry Tillery - ND - he runs too hot and cold to be a first rounder IMO. He needed to answer those questions with a consistant effort in '19 and he didn't.
Thats it. A class that could have had 8 of the top 32 picks, now has 3. Maybe 4, depending on how Lawrence answers questions and drug tests at the combine.
