I think the Patriots secondary is better then Bears and the front was playing lights out in the post season...that was a solid group on defense there.

What concerns me is why didn't McVay expect this and have a better plan to combat it?

Where was the dink and dunk? The quick strike ? The Gurley out wide? The 4 WR sets? All sorts of ways to try and combat it, but he seemed determined to stick to his game plan... it didn't help not having Kupp that's for sure.

You can bet that McVay is designing an offense right now that will take advantage of that defense though
