Is this a function of experience? I don't think Ryan started this way.

He came from a pro system. He had a shorter learning curve.

The Air Raid offense Goff came from is famous for sending qbs to the NFL who have a lot of catching up to do. They're "behinder" than college qbs from other kinds of offensive systems. In fact for a long time no AR qb DID make it. Goff is actually the first genuine franchise qb/starting caliber qb who made it. (There were a couple of #2 caliber qbs who struggled initially then stabilized--Keenum and Foles).
