znI don't know. Goes like this. When the Saints complained about the PI non-call, they were told, no game comes down to one play.

I did not say the GAME came down to that play. I said it would have been a TD with a technically better throw. You are suggesting something that was not MY topic. Its yours.
When the Rams lose, some, who need to blame somebody, and choose the qb, ignore the fact that the OL broke down and so did the play calling, and the qb faced pressure on 70% of the plays, and pick on one play.

Again: That is NOT MY topic. All I said this play would/should have been a (go ahead) TD. No where did I say the Rams would have won that game if it was. And I dont care if he was pressured 70% (you have said that repeatedly but never proved it) of the time, 90% or 0 %. I am talking about THAT play. And THAT play he had a clean pocket and a wide open WR .
You can go on about it if you like but I just do not take that kind of approach seriously. (Really. I don;t.)
I think maybe it provides some kind of illusion of psychological clarity to put it all on one player and one play, but I don't see a good football argument. You want to win? Arrange it so your qb is under less pressure. That will probably go a long way toward making winning more likely.
I MIGHT listen if someone ever comes up with a list of qbs who DID play well under
that much pressure. But I;m not holding my breath on that. No one ever does come up with that. I wish that the fact that they can't come with examples of that would foster the next step, which is to get that qbs under that much pressure in a game just don't play well. Instead of doing this less than realistic "put it all on one play" number.

Goff was not the sole culprit on Sunday. McVay, o-line, receivers , everybody on offense did not have a good day, heck, not even an average day (which would have been enough to win this game). But hey, QB is THE glamour position in football. To him goes the glory, to him goes the blame. In most cases actually. And Goff had his chances to come threw for his team on Sunday. The criticism is deserved and it has nothing to do if he was under pressure or not. plays where there and they were not made by him. McVay had the chance to adjust his play calling and did not make it. And excuse me if I say so but I could care less if YOU are listening or not. Even Goff himself says he fouled up and should have done better.
