Super Bowl Poem
It's been 17 long years
Since Vinatieri broke our hearts
This won't erase the pain
But it will definitely be a start!
It's a daunting task before us
But we will not run and hide
If the Patriots think we'll roll over
They're in for a big surprise
No more talk about Saints
or Referees, or cheating
It's time for the Patriots
To get a Super Bowl beating
They call him the GOAT
The top QB around
But move over Tom Brady
There's a new kid in town!
Jared Goff is his name
He's got weapons for days
Woods, Cooks and Reynolds
Todd Gurley and CJ
And then there's Bill Belichick
Certainly one of the best
But he will be playing checkers
While McVay is playing chess!
The pre-game festivities are over
It's time to play some ball
Who's gonna make the memorable play?
Which Ram is gonna stand tall?
Will it be Goff with a bootleg?
Or Everett down the seam?
Maybe Gurley running wildcat?
We can only dream!
It could be Cooks going deep!
Or will Higbee get the call?
Hekker with a fake?
Or will Zuerlein win it all?
We can't forget the defense though
Maybe they will get in the mix
A Fowler spin move for a sack?
An Aqib Talib pick 6?
If the D is gonna win this game
Aaron Donald must play a part
Marcus Peters cannot get burned
Wade's scheme will have to be smart
What's gonna put us over the top?
Maybe it's all of the above!
Or it could just be the uniforms
The old fashioned ones we love!
The Rams will certainly not be in aww,
and they will not be intimidated
They'll fight and scratch and claw
Til' New England is eliminated!
So gather up all of your family and friends
And throw that Super Bowl party
Just a few short hours away
Until the Rams hoist the Lombardi!
