“THE SUPER BOWL TODAY” SETS THE SCENE FOR ITS 20TH SUPER BOWL BROADCAST WITH ALL ENCOMPASSING FOUR HOURS OF SUPER BOWL LIII PREGAME SHOW FROM ATLANTA

Super Bowl III MVP and NFL Icon Joe Namath to Visit Set of THE SUPER BOWL TODAY for a Unique Look Back 50 Years to His N.Y. Jets’ Guaranteed Victory



Seattle Seahawks’ Russell Wilson and Denver Broncos’ Von Miller to Join CBS Sports as
Guest Analysts on THE SUPER BOWL TODAY for Super Bowl LIII on Feb. 3

Throughout the day on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 3, CBS’s Super Bowl LIII pregame show, THE SUPER BOWL TODAY (2:00-6:00 PM, ET), celebrates Super Bowl LIII, the host city, the teams and players participating by encompassing all that surrounds the big day, as well as detailed analysis, features and interviews profiling all the storylines regarding Super Bowl LIII.



Super Bowl III MVP, former New York Jets quarterback and NFL icon Joe Namath will visit the set of THE SUPER BOWL TODAY to discuss and give his unique look at the game in which he guaranteed victory 50 years ago.



And, Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl XLVIII-winning quarterback Russell Wilson and Denver Broncos’ Super Bowl 50 MVP linebacker Von Miller will join CBS Sports as guest analysts on THE SUPER BOWL TODAY.



Along with features that have already been announced including a historical look back at Super Bowl III; a special look at the host city of Atlanta and its role in the Civil Rights Movement including interviews with Bernice King, Martin Luther King’s daughter, and former civil rights activist, Atlanta Mayor and UN Ambassador, Andrew Young; and the return of CBS’ Super Bowl features series, “Difference Makers,” which looks back at key plays in recent Super Bowl history, additional scheduled features on THE SUPER BOWL TODAY include (subject to change):

NFL Insider Jason La Canfora, reporters Tracy Wolfson, Evan Washburn and Jamie Erdahl, NFL Rules Analyst Gene Steratore, and Contributor Jim Rome also will cover the pregame activities. Amanda Balionis will serve as CBS Sports’ Social Media Correspondent.
