and that's the way it broke.
Every year there are plays that refs get wrong and it affects the outcome of a game...play-offs is no exception.
I have no sympathy for how it played out...if it were the Rams that lost on that one play...that's how it goes.
Having the human element in deciding penalties(without review) is part of the game...and the owners decided that.
The owners can pass a new rule if it bothers them so much. It's old school football, like playing in bad weather...and not having all games played inside in perfect conditions.
btw - Anyone, think ADonald isn't held every other play? They don't call that remotely as much as it happens cuz the game couldn't continue!! lolWe'll see if the owners change the rules....but until then? Those penalty misses are part of the game of football.
