His helmet's communication didn't work "for some reason." So he had to wear Mannion's helmet for the first two drives. And he wouldn't have even mentioned it if they lost, which means he has 1000% more class than Payton.
"Forget" (substitute the "right" word there) the Saints and "forget" Sean Payton and his whining. They're no better than Belichick and they deserved to lose.
There is nothing the Saints could have done that would have messed with the communications with just ONE helmet. That would be a hardware problem with the helmet itself, and how would it be possible to do that? They can take out the entire Rams communication system (cause that's built into the dome) but they can't just take out one helmet. And besides, as shown by Goff just wearing Mannion's helmet, even if it were possible to do that, it wouldn't amount to anything anyway cause (as he did) the starting qb just wears a different qb's helmet.
