This is exactly why I hate stats. The Rams are great but this is a ridiculous article stat... does this that take into consideration that everybody matches up in nickel and dime? That teams no longer value stopping the run because it such a pass heavy league? Just Stop

This is a good OL but it's not the best run-blocking OL ever.
In fact you take these players back to the 80s and I figure only 2 could start on the great old Dickerson era Rams OLs: Whitworth and Saffold.
Kromer is a great coach, but a lot of this is circumstances.
QB rating is inflated this year too. This year 10 qbs had qb ratings of 100 or better. That includes Ryan Fitzpatrick and Kirk Cousins. Go back to 1983. Not a single qb with a rating above 97. And so Fitzpatrick and Cousins are therefore suppposedly better than top passers from that year like Marino, Fouts, Montana, and Ken Anderson?
It just means the stat got inflated and doesn't mean the same thing anymore.
