Should be a classic game. Brees is going to be a real challenge for Wade to scheme against. Our secondary is so up and down just one play can be disaster. I look for Wade to call more blitzes than usual just to try to disrupt Brees. It could lead to yards but may lead to more turnovers as the hoped for payoff. And this time we have Talib, who could make a real difference.
On the O side, McVay has a new toy, a potential big toy, as you pointed out. I'm sure he is going to focus on the running game to open play action. Without Kupp, the Rams O just isn't as consistent in the passing game but is improving over the last month. I expect to see a lot of play action passes to TE's short, including the middle, occasionally a long pass to the WR's.
A good one in store.
