The Eagles last year for example were on a clear roll and were dominating. There were both 7th on offense and 3rd in scoring and 7th on defense and 4th in points allowed. Who has that clearcut, unqualified "head of the pack" feel this year? Or to put it a different way, let's say the NFC championship game is Saints and Rams. Which team would be the upset if they won? Which team would be the big surprise if they lost?
And besides if it WERE true every year that there's no clear unqualified favorite, then, it would be right to say it every year. And hardly any point, then, in claiming otherwise.
