Specifically.
Right now, they are within $2 M of the cap. Next year they are in the middle of the league as far as cap space. So "average" money will be available.
Every team is in a fight to guess (yes, an educated guess) to get the best players, draft well, and stay within the cap. It's not easy. Only 12 teams do it well enough to get to the playoffs. Only 2 teams win their respective conferences. And only one wins the SB. I know you know that. Again, not easy.
Personally, I think the Rams are in as good a place as anyone to get to the SB. Yea, my heart is tired from the very close games the last 9 weeks. I wouldn't mind some blowouts going forward, but it is what it is. I also find myself criticizing McVay during games (as the game time forum can prove), but the guy is 22-7 so far. In his first gig (and I hope ONLY gig) as an NFL head coach.
It's okay to complain. Gotcha. No prob with me. Always room for improvement. But this is only the SECOND year of the McVay/Snead combo. Give it more time.
