Me? I would add no one through free agency.

By 2021 they will have a very short list of big contracts they can have on the books. It's already 5 guys. They will be adding Goff. With both Goff and Donald on the books by then, that leaves room for at most probably 2-3 more. Sign the 2 guys you list and it goes down to zero to 1.

I wasn't advocating signing them both, just one of them. I'm not sure what names you're counting in your 5 right now but I think by 2021 some names will fall off.

Whit, Brockers, Barron, Talib, Sullivan...That's about $45M.

I wouldn't stop adding free agents just because there is only space for 8-10 big contracts since things are so fluid in the NFL. Some of the big contracts may not be performing anymore so they may be deleted and someone else added.

I'd just make sure that I was extra careful on any big contract to ensure that they are worthy of being a core piece. Last year they made over the D because Wade preferred to have more money spent in the secondary than the huge amount that was going to the LBs.

The remake may not be finished. It's hard to remake a unit in ones image all at once. I wouldn't be surprised to see more moves restructuring the defense including cutting big contracts and signing other big contracts.
