To me, McVay called the game like the Bears stacked their defense to stop the run. I think trying to take what the defense is willing to give you is a pretty good way to go. I know it didn't work out, but he problem might be with the execution, not with the decision making.
If Goff was 29 for 44, 383 yards, 3 TDs and 1 int then McVay would look a bit smarter ...
