Not many surprises in my "hate" list, but here they are...
Hate the most
1. Seahawks (supplanted the 49ers at the top because their fans are the worst)
2. 49ers (I grew up in the 1980's, sooooo... yeah... but it's actually kind of a hate mixed with respect for Montana, Rice, etc.)
3. Patriots (badly deserve to be higher on my "hate the most" list but they don't have quite the history of the two above)
4. Giants (they always seem to play us dirty and chippy... always glad to just get our games against them DONE with)
5. Packers (fans aren't awful like Seahawks fans but they are obnoxious in their over-the-rop homerism)
Cowboys, Steelers, and Vikings deserve to be in or near the top five due to their history with the Rams, but I confess that since most of that happened before I was born, it just doesn't affect me much. For me, out of those three, the Vikings are probably the closest to being in the top five. Mostly because I used to hate Chris Berman's little "all he does is catch touchdowns" thing about Cris Carter. I always wanted to say, "Yeah, and all his team does is lose NFCC games!" (That said, Cris Carter might be my favorite sports pundit right now, so he's really grown on me after his career has ended.)
Hate the least
27. Browns (How do you hate such a hapless team? I could hate them even less if they weren't so boring to watch on top of being hapless.)
28. Bengals (Orange is my favorite color.)
29. Lions (I think we have some kinship with them. They're another ancient, storied franchise with too many tough years and who deserves to have their story told more than it is.)
30. Dolphins (One of my best friends likes the Dolphins, so it's fun to cheer for them with him.)
31. Chargers (I've always liked the Chargers going back to my younger years. Cool uniforms. Cool helmet. Usually a fun offense. Liked them better in San Diego. They could easily earn my ire if they become more well-liked in LA than the Rams).
