I get the feeling that if Arizona put up 30 points then the Chiefs would have put up more. Plus they had the Rams the next week so I wonder if they were limiting what they put on tape... or saving some plays... IDK if that's a thing or not though, lol
But the Cards did limit them by getting pressure on Mahomes. And if his first read wasn't there he would get a deer in the headlights look and then just kind of curl up... but only if he couldn't run or escape the pocket. Its why I said last week if the Rams were lucky (percentage-wise) on taking out Mahome's first read and getting pressure on him, then I thought the match up would favor the Rams... Didn't really happen that way (whew) and the Rams don't blitz much. Hoping they are saving that wrinkle for the playoffs... Although those types of fan dreams never come true. lol
