Down and distance

On the one series where rams had 3rd and 30 or something like that - Rams made a first down then there was a hold on Whitworth making it 1st and 20 - then there was a sack and another hold on Whitworth, ref said the penalty was accepted, which would have made it 1st and 30, but I think the ball was spotted at the point of the sack and it was then 2nd and 30. Guess the penalty was declined and the play accepted, but no one corrected it on TV - that announcer is the worst.

He was always trying to convince us that what we were watching was the greatest thing ever instead of just letting us decide for ourselves. I hate that - yells too much too. Saw one of those tweets that said if Gus Johnson was doing the game, he would have had a heart attack.
