I read most, if not all your posts. I like what you say and how you say. I agree with your evaluation of our O & ST. Not so sure I agree with your peception of our D. Bottom line, we are giving up too many points. 4 of our last 5 wins have been by 7 points or less, the only blowout being the 9’ers. All 4 of the wins are against teams with a winning record. Granted, they were against some of the best QB’s (Willson, Rogers & Cousins). Our D has only lived up to their hype once since week 3, against the 9’ers.
You may be right, we are only a few players away. I just don’t see our D living up to it talent level. Hopefully our back end will improve if/when Talib returns and maybe Fowler is a better fit here than with the Jags. Just hard for me to have much faith of them even containing KC’s O. I hope we win, but my guess is we will need at least 35 to have a chance.
One thing I do agree with, it they have risen to the occasions late in the game to secure a win. I don’t tend to be pessimistic but hard for me to think positive thoughts over the D performance over the past 7 weeks. Hope they prove me wrong!
