Our biggest issue as I see it...tackling. How many times have we seen a runner boxed in for a loss or short gain only to see him escape and get 6-8 yards or more? I think the lack of athleticism plays a part. And...most of those breakdowns are on the outside where our LBs, safeties and corners are playing.
Tackle...contain...win.
Great Point, Ebukam is athletic, but he can't tackle, he's missed a ton as to Matt Longacre, he can tackle, but very slow and not athletic enough to be in position to make the play. Go with Fowler and Ebukam on the edge and hope Fowler can be disciplined enough to hold the edge and Ebukam does a better job wrapping up.
