I have been monitoring social media twitter and instagram and the Rams just don’t have the following yet
When that flex game was announced the Bears and Rams twitter accounts made official announcements. The likes for the Bears account was around 4,500 the Rams was around 400. So I went back just to look at similar announcements and traffic. The response to the Rams on social media just doesn’t exist like for other teams. IMO this just seems like it shouldn’t be that way for a team that is exciting like this. They must hire a marketing and social media expert. They simply cannot have one right now with how little traction they are getting. The stars on thisbteams smh. Also you know how I have posted those ratings for the Rams on TV nationally? Well what I haven’t mentioned was that in LA while the ratings are increasing they are not pulling in the viewers locally like they are nationally.
I imagine that if the Rams made the SB and they played the Steelers, Chiefs, or Pats it will be a road game as well. Can you imagine if the Rams played the Chargers? The ratings on TV would be good but would the fan bases fill that stadium?
I am also preparing myself to see a sea of red Monday night although I’m hoping for the best
It’s just crazy to me a 9-1 team, exciting, star filled can’t get a home crowd to go see a team like that even on short notice. Especially a prime time game. You would think it would be far more Ram fans.
I know all the reasons - gone 25 years, other teams fans are now native to LA, lots to do out there... but man I don’t like it <shrug>
