Kirwin has never been a Rams apologist. But he is fairly good at analyzing trends and data. He acknowledges the Rams D isn't strong vs the run. But after this week they will have most of the strong running game teams behind then...Chargers, Vikings, Seahawks twice, Saints, Chiefs.
Moving forward, he thinks the Rams defense has much more favorable matchups with teams that just are not running the ball well right now. He doesn't see one team that has a running game that will exert itself. He went so far as to say he thinks the Rams run the table after the Chiefs game.
