The Denver game was not as close as the final score. The Rams need to do a better job playing the soft zone when they are up 10+ pts with less than five minutes left. That game should have finished 23-13. Also GZ would likely have hit the FG that Santos missed....so it really should have been 26-13. That likely would have changed the dynamics of the lasat seven minutes. I know this is woulda coulda shoulda. But the win was against a tough home-field team that was poised to break out.....and very well could have broken out had the played a team other than the Rams.
The Seahawks win is another one. The Seahawks are 3-1 in their last four games.....the one loss coming against the Rams. OK....their other opponents (AZ, OAK, Dallas) aren't top-teams....but the Seahwaks are clearly playing better than they were the first two weeks of the season.
The only games the Rams have had so far against weak teams that were not rolling are Arizona and Oakland. The other four games were quality wins.....some of which the Rams likely would have lost last year....and CERTAINLY would have lost in years before that.
