I think I've noticed a few teams have started to do what what we've been doing. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.
In war, smart people copy what the winners do.

For example, early in the civil war Gen. Sherman didn't want his men to build bulwarks because he thought it made them cowardly. He learned his lesson at Shiloh.
