Who are they?
What do they represent?
What's their style?
What is outstanding about them?
What is memorable about them?
What would make anyone want to be a fan?

The one real identity that they had was that they belonged to San Diego.

Now they are semi-permanent renters and step children.

They actually have a future HOF player and terrific guy in Rivers, and a fabulous RB.
But they just get buried in the glow surrounding the Rams.

It might not be fair; but there it is.

They're actually a very good team that will probably go deep into the playoffs, but they have a major issues That goes far beyond anything on the field.

They completely misread the entire situation....

LA and SD do not like each other, never have never will. Goes back to the Dodgers pretty much owning the Padres for decades and just a weird thing where people just loathe LA that are from SD especially now that they have the Chargers. They lost a lot (most) of their core fans....No way are they rooting for that owner and that city! This was a HUGE blunder by Spanos and the NFL to not see this is what is happening. I work in SD county and have many friends who were season ticket holders and all of them can't quite shake their fandom, but will never put a penny in Spanos' pocket again.

Funny story, I have a ton of Rams jerseys and I'm selling a few of my old authentic style ones from the Fisher era on OfferUp ...I sold my Bradford jersey the other day to a guy who admitted he was an ex Charger fan and was now jumping on the Rams bandwagon...I took his money and said welcome aboard spin tounge smiley

Nobody wanted them in LA, they were forced on LA.... that is another idiotic mistake by the NFL. Most teams who move to a new city are embraced by a whole new fan group, this move was mocked and laughed at...LA Times ran a story after it was announced that was titled "Go Back To San Diego -We Don't Want You" it was a mess from the jump.

Now there are several stories coming out about how the Chargers are struggling hard to sale PSL's, let alone the luxury boxes....even at a fraction of the price of the Rams PSL's.

How is this a shock to the NFL is amazing......Stevie Wonder saw this coming.
