McVay had an off day. So did Goff.
And yet we won the game and are a league leading 6-0. We would have KILLED for a 6-0 start to a season before McVay arrived!
I predict that this game was an outlier and I further predict that both McVay and Goff will have better games ahead.
My only concern is our continued weakness at edge. Maybe a bit concerned with Troy Hill, too.
But red zone TD percentage? McVay’s playcalling expertise? Goff’s reading progressions? Nope. Not hardly.
