Why does St Louis make sense? It doesn't make sense to me! Not now. St Louis doesn't have an NFL-worthy stadium anymore. And more importantly, I'm not even sure there's enough of an interest in the local fanbase to welcome and support an NFL team for a 3rd time. Plus, the city is still paying for the antiquated Dome and really doesn't want to play THAT game again. Too much water under the bridge. I think the city has moved on from the NFL and there are several groups interested in bringing soccer to the city instead and building an MLS stadium. I don't care for soccer myself but there's lots of folks around here who want it.
