picking one thing that the Ram's are doing today that leads me to believe what we're seeing is real... that we ARE a contender, if not the favorite (I'm up in the air about that)...I think somewhat surprisingly I wouldn't pick Goff's play, which has been outstanding; nor our sudden wealth of WR's; nor having Suh and AD on the DL... it's a simple thing really... but something that seems to have been the toughest for the Ram's to overcome in many years...
Being able to get short yardage when they need it. Sending Gurley, or Brown, or Goff for that matter, into the line between the tackles and GETTING that needed half yard, or even yard. That speaks volumes to me... it says something about coaching, the talent, the strategy, training camp, preseason, focus, intensity, coming together as a team. In that ONE attribute I can find solace and belief that the Ram's are for real. - JamesJM
