In one of his pressers he went into things amazingly.
Generally, I get tired of the Sean McVay Coach-Speak Cliché Fest. Of course, that is what good coaches do--no real complaint. I just get tired of words that don't say anything.
But one of the transcripts of his pressers lately was actually very interesting. He went into a lot of detail about the decision making process in specific plays. He probably said more than a prudent coach might say, but it was interesting as hell.
He was talking about "complementary" football. I think he meant calling plays that complement each other tactically. Well, that is indeed the issue, and I found his thinking fascinating. I dunno that I have time, but a good long look at that would be a great post.
