I'm not nearly as down on McVay's play calling. But just for the sake of argument, let's say you're right. In the end, all this game really proved is that you can't actually stop us from winning. Sure, slow us down. Sure, give up 200+ yards to Gurley. You're still going to lose.
The psychological impact of our dominance is a real thing. We're going to get every team's best shot... but we're also planting the thought in the back of their heads that resistance is futile.

All I'm really saying is that we could have done better. The fact that Denver gave up 444 yards and over 35 minutes of time of possession shows that their strategy fails even when everything goes their way.
