Unfortunately, Goff has come crashing back down to Earth after his 5 TD "perfect" game. Since then he has thrown 1 TD and 3 INT in 2 games and had to have the ball taken out of his hands yesterday. Not sure why the growing pains are hitting right now but he needs to get back on track.
As you say though, this team is 6-0. We've got 8 guys on IR and a young QB slumping a little and we still just pulled of two, tough road wins. If we get a few of those guys back and are relatively healthy later in the year, this team should make some noise in the playoffs.
Not gonna worry bout it too much...two tough road games in very hard places to play.
One pick was a hail marry at end of the half, the other two were bounced off teammates for picks....hard to throw lots of TD's when Gurley keeps running them all in.
Playing with gloves in 22 degrees without Kupp and shakes o-line play didn't help yesterday.
We're 6-0 and about to be 7-0..... He'll get back to looking like Goff next week, not gonna let a bad game in freezing cold temps change my outlook on this kid.
