You're looking for a "winner."
Like all human beings, you want YOUR opinions to be the winning ones.But debates like this don't have winners. They have different views and the more the better.
There will never be a case where there is THE post that just IN REALITY shuts everyone on the "other side" down. And in fact even wanting that is a problem in its own right. (All it really means is given the side YOU take, you agree with someone. Thats' really all it is.) (IMO).
There's just clashing interpretations of certain issues. When done right that focuses on football details. And it is understood that it's okay to have different views.
The real point is the discussion. If it's a good one everyone's a winner. If it degenerates into "keeping score" (because people with strong opinions naturally think they are just "right" ) then IMO the discussion suffers.
