It's cold....but I think once you get going, you notice less. I would be more concerned about the altitude they were in.... I bet that had more of an effect than anything.
Coach -- I think he really struggled today. I just watched his press conference, he really called himself out. He went on to say "the players bailed me out"....he was pretty hard on himself. He was really not good today. The whole world could see what Denver was doing.....Jared even mentions it in his post game conference, give it a listen. McVay really reminded me of a certain Mike Martz guy today.....stubborn. The defense was getting killed in the run game.
THIS GAME SHOULD HAVE BEEN A BLOWOUT.....and I think McVay knows it. Listen to his post game.
Teams are going to do this: concentrate on one weapon to take away (either pass game or Gurley) and McVay has to adjust to that. He has the weapons on offense. I really, really, REALLY hope one of our TE's starts stepping up!!!!
My Biggest Worry: The Defense. The LBers aren't very good on the outside. I also think Robey Coleman and Shields both play better than Peters at this point. Where is Joyner?? Donald is held on every play....it's pathetic to watch.
I would love to think that the defense will suddenly emerge.....but I still have PTSD from believing that in the early 2000's.
