That's what made 270y on the ground possible. Gurley with 200+! I think the pass call to Gurley late in the 4th was the correct one, or at least defensible, simply because it's unpredictable. Play call tendencies will MATTER in the future, not just in this game. If that had been a TD (or perhaps even as an incomplete) future teams have been deprived a little bit of information on exactly what McV's tendencies are.
