That said, we are definitely in dire need of LB's and edge talent, and maybe a little O-line depth...barring that, just HEALTH baby.
Short/intermediate crossing routes....and opposing QB's having all the lateral movement space they want/need on a regular basis is whats killing this D right now...which are direct results of the above.
Any stop-gap, quick fix options anyone is aware of...? Can at least SOME of this be "schemed out"..?
On another note, Thank Gawd we moved on from Keenum (scrub, always has been...always will be IMO) he flat out gagged that game away tonight. That throw needs to be made EVERY time (Thomas overthrow). No pressure, easy spot/throw...to a guy with a HUGE catch radius and WIDE open...pathetic. He did NOTHING note worthy all night as it was.
Same goes for Watkins....unreliable career under achiever. The Chiefs will likely rue the day they gave him that contract.
