While I can understand how fans can feel betrayed by their team moving, for me it was never even a thought that I would always love the Rams an remain a fan no matter where they were.
Went to games in STL 2,3 a year Starting in 1997 when I began to earn enough to make the trip(took 2 of my older children with me) .
Went to games in Seattle and Phoenix every year(never had a desire to go to a game in SF, couldn't stomach that team at all).
Now that they are back I haven't been able to go to a game because of my health, no way could I make it through 4 hours on those seats.
Moving back east(Georgia ), next year, and will most likely never see a game in the new stadium. California born and been here my whole life except my time in the Air Force.
All those years without them, never once could I see a season without the Rams. Over the last 20 years I have allowed myself to follow other teams , but never as a replacement, only for the interest of rooting for one side vs. the other in a season.
And as long as I can follow them wherever I am, I'll be happy.
