They were not going to limit the Chargers- a good offense- to 5 first downs like vs ARZ... I thought the defense played well overall. Pass rush is still spotty. Rivers opted to throw underneath a lot which he completed with good timing but didn't result in many big gains. They gave up three pass plays of 25+ yards which was bound to happen. The deep TD to Williams was a great throw.
It was a back and forth game. Though in the end I do think it was closer than it probably should have been (missed FG and the turnovers by Gurley and Goff).
Good win vs. a good team.
