Agree completely. You can't keep everyone and once you have some big money stars signed you need to have a system/cycle of new younger talent coming through to augment them.
Having a 1st rounder back for 2019 will be great but having three 3rds is also good. Right now, per
OverTheCap, those picks would be 100th and 101st overall. As you mention, also tradeable now which increases their value. And in fact as of now they project two 7ths for the Rams from Davis and Carrier.
I would fully expect losing Suh and Joyner to result in 3rd round comp picks in 2020. 4ths at minimum.
