I get it absolutely. He doea too and the thing is. He gets paid to do what he does and most of us wish we could or still could on any level.
I think with the revamped offense and more responsibilities he has i n this yrs iteration I see him as a huge plus. I will let the future. Define his legacy but I don't feel worried that he will not fufill his potential. KW was not perfect and several retired QBs even in HOF not perfect in tje least. Rogers and Cousins play to a tie? Brady shutdown hollering "do your job" doesn't say leader anymore than TO or Bryant fuming along sidlines is a sign of leadership.
You can want what you want but in this case it only matters what Rams want.
Yeah no one is perfect but then that doesn't stop us from seeing that Goff can be better.
To have a measure for his progress, I want to see how well he does against top defenses and in clutch/comeback situations. Last year, good as he was overall, he wasn't good in those situations.
And this is coming from a longtime Goff guy. I defended him through 2016 and into the 2017 summer interception-gate and I never bought the line that he was a McVay puppet-back. So I didn't come late to the party.
