Because PS games don't count. Big diff missing PS and pulling your starter out of an actual game. Starting QBs almost always finish the game. Way it's always been and will continue to be. I will throw out one more factor that I believe is in McVay's thinking on this is he believes in our OL. Goff stays clean unless he holds the ball way too long. If he's not getting hit he's probably not getting hurt.
