The nuances of the position and the clear available history for all to see after watching Brady, Rogers and others who get the accolades regardless of the things that could be nit-picked after watching a game they played. Getting first downs and completions and moving the team up and down the field for scores if they end in TD and FG is a credit. We cashed in on TDs and so I really think this expectation of perfection and video game results is not within fairness of watching a real live game. 2 things never taken into consideration and Schlereth mentioned that on that long pass to Cook that he threw him open allowing Cooks to find the ball. Waldeman pointed out some nuances last week on a throw to Kupp that reflected QB and WR on same chapter and that is something that is not always understood by fans. Woods tends to slow up looking for the ball on deep throws and that can be the difference in WR know what is necessary and QB understanding what the WR is going to do assuming they have time to finesse. sometimes they are throwing with anticipation of the WR speed and approach. If a WR is knocked off route or slips it can look ugly,
This kid is getting wins and I don't need him crowned Elite or a superstar overnight. I just think we can appreciate the strides and weekly improvements rather than allowing our fandom to negatively taint something that is pretty impressive to see. BTW, the kid has also earned the C on his chest and that is a huge thing as well.
