Everett is on a pace for 8 receptions this year. Maybe the guy is good for about 25-30 catches a year.
I was happy to see they had their number called. Fortunately, Cooks seems to be able to handle the middle of the field.
However, I still see redzone issues. If we are 3rd and long or 3rd and goal-long, we are in trouble. Yesterday, we were 3rd and short a lot, or 4th and short.
As I mentioned, one of the Red Zone solutions was to give it to Gurley more. I think McVay used Gurley more in the Red Zone yesterday than he did for a season last year (exaggerating).
