People who want to use Tavon can find ways to use him.
McV didn't. He wanted a Cooks, not a Tavon. He wanted a receiver not a hybrid+gadget.
No complaints.
Rams didn't want Quinn either and word out of Miami is, he's playing well (in a 4/3). But he really wasn't going to provide what Wade wants and likes at LB.
So the way I see 2017, they weren't going to use TA the ways you have to use him (hybrid) and so time to move on, no big deal.
But also the fact that McV had no interest in using him isn't a reflection on TA, either...there ARE ways to use TA.
So the Rams have what they want (Cooks) and are using him well...Dallas will probably find ways to use TA all year...it's all a happy ending.
