As others posted only one game, however, I never thought much of Greg Olson as an Offensive Coordinator. He had that title under Linehan and the offense improved when he took over in 2006 and the Rams won their last 3 games and 4 out of six, but when the Rams got off to a slow start in 2007, Linehan took the play calling away. Olson is not calling plays for Gruden, but when he did call plays as the OC, he was always fired. IMO, QB was the perfect fit for him, but he wanted the title, which the Rams might have given him, but he left before LaFleur got the opportunity was offered the gig in Tennessee.
As to Matt LaFleur seemed like a good gig with a young Quarterback and a good offensive line with total autonomy from Vrabel, how could he miss? Well, IMO, Vrabel is overrated, he hadn't even been a good DC yet and was quickly named Head Coach. Plus Marcus Ardel Taulauniu Mariota is proving what many of us watched last year when the Rams played against the Titans on the road, Mariota just is not that accurate and forces the ball besides having some durability issues lately as well....Tough now for LaFleur because if the Titan offense does struggle, he'll become the fall guy as they will force Vrabel to hire a seasoned Offensive Coordinator, which he should have done in the first place IMHO.
